Work - Filming, photoshoot, hosting, conducting training, modeling .....

Was filming for Mediacorp Channel 8 "Your Hand in Mine" last week..
Very very very long hours of filming..
Have to continue filming this episode during the first week of Jan.. will update again

Did a photoshoot with Channel 8
They were looking for Jesseca Liu look-alike so they called me up.
The casting director told me that the photoshoot that I did is for another Channel 8 drama which will be shown in April 2010
Very easy shoot, and I like the pictures too =)

Conducted a training programme for KPMG during Christmas Eve.
Then,I went for coffee with the 2 bosses.
They talked to me about engaging me as their in-house Emcee next year, and requested me to help out in the events managements area too. I said okay. Because I love emcee-ing, and I love managing events...=)
I am really grateful to work with these 2 guys who always give me opportunity to learn and perform.Really so happy to work together with them =)

I worked for a Family Day event as an Emcee for a corporate company last week too.
I love Emcee-ing. After the event, I asked boss about my performance, and he replied, "Very good."
I am happy about it too. =)

The event was held at Singapore Discovery Center too. And the SDC management and staffs were very friendly to me as well. During the intervals, we all had fun together. And one of the artists that my bosses engaged for the event requested to draw a caricature for me. Nice. =p

But recently the MUAs that I worked with asked me to get M.A.C. for shoots. so I would like the Studio Fix foundation in the lightest shade, then maybe some liquid highlighter/brightener for the face, shading powder/bronzer for shading purposes, and black smoky eye shadow or any palette from M.A.C or Bobbi Brown

6. Skincare - I dont buy any skincare products for myself. Those that I am using are from sponsors or are given to me. so will appreciate skincare products from Lancome, Clinique, Biotherm...I dunno what other brands. I am not fussy.

I am not a Hello Kitty !!

many new things in my life...too much to update!! so just a quick sum up:

-full day filming tmr, I have to reach Mediacorp by 730am.
-Emcee-ing for a corporate co for Family day, an outdoor event at Singapore discovery center this Sun.
-a pending shoot this weekend
-a photoshoot with Mediacorp studios next Monday
- conducting training (teambuilding/leadership training course) for KPMG (an auditing firm) on Xmas Eve (yes, I have to work on xmas eve)



anyway, i m happy because hosting and conducting training pays well !! short working hours too!!
Looking forward to this Friday - Cell group pre-xmas dinner gathering and .........................(ahem..)

 

Was with Orca the last few days. She is my informal trainer. That day , we were in the boxing ring and she taught me Muay Thai. She is well trained in muay Thai, Karate, Taewondo, and she taught me the punches and the kicks. Seriously, its difficult!!!! Its all about technique. All the guys were like..staring at me. I looked so awkward (almost synonymous with RETARDED) in the ring. 
To top it off, Orca exclaimed, " Zoe, you looked like a Hello Kitty here!!! "
Hello Kitty doing boxing??!! damn it. You see, thats why I like this friend!! ahhaa..=)


Oh, and at a mass class yesterday, I finally, like FINALLY, saw someone real HOT. and he talked to me!! ahahaa..and thats only because he is the fitness instructor and I was new in his class. I felt so silly that I cant even give a decent reply except to smile and smile..WTH.  But I will make it a point to go for his class again next week. Despite the fact that I looked entirely petite to those guys who have biceps 6X of mine. And even the ladies there are freaking muscular. =(  Finally, huge thanks to my dear friend, Orca!! Cant wait to see u again and again this week.



I am stressed. But still happy and very excited!!!!!
I know that I have said this sooo many times, but I love Dec. This year has never been so good before.
Santa...if only I can have all the material aspects of my wish list, I will be even happier !!!  =p

Seriously, I spend most of my time reading...
Close friends called me a geek, they know that when I am not working, I will be at home reading. (or I will be over at Esplanade arts library)
On the average, I read about 4 books a week not inclusive of web articles or ebooks.

I am loving the cold weather this Dec..

Sipping my hot tea, listening to nice music, blogging from my laptop, doing yoga and reading all in the comfort of my room =)

I still cant quite believe it.
this month has been one of the most awesome months of this year for me, thus far.
I love every single moment.
Work is more than fulfilling.
Social meter is at all time high.

A good friend brought me out for dinner and recommended Udders ice cream after our dinner. Since I don't even like ice cream at all, I thought this better be something worthy. Anyway, this is really a very dear friend. He told me that I am one of the greatest highlight of his life (in a positive way, of course..ahhaa), and he would never exchange this friendship for anything else. **touched**  Despite, I have always been so busy and not able to meet up for the last one year (??!!alright, my bad.) 




We ordered the Rum and Baileys ones to try. And seriously, I was very IMPRESSED. Absolutely generous dosage of liqueur in those quality cream. So gooooooood !!!
We even planned to try their other flavors again. Do check out their website for other exciting flavors!!!

I wish I could tell you that they paid me to blog this, but sadly, NOPE.
I mean, seriously, THEY SHOULD. =p
I am blogging this at 12am cos I am craving for food!!!
I had a huge dinner just now. (I usually eat twice for dinner everyday. This is why -- after my "normal" dinner, I have to finish my dad's cooking when I reached home. So first dinner is usually around 6pm, second dinner is about 10pm, and supper starts after 12am.)


Dont you all love stuffing your face to a tub of quality icecream while reading a book or watching DVDs at this hour? hahaha....Actually, I am thinking of having cha soba, calamari, lasagna ,,,,, now.

November - Outings with Family and Friends **very random**

Meet up with the Lawyer-Friend

Few days ago, met up with Mr Lawyer Friend for dinner.This is one of the few friends who has been trying to meet me up for the longest longest time.I have always love meeting up with this friend. He really really treats me like a lady.He is in his early 30s but still look so young and good looking because he works out ALOT.

Recently, his wife gave birth to a baby boy. So happy for him !!

And we were sharing about life transitions and coping with life crisis, giving each other lotsa of advices as well

Its interesting because, despite our age differences, he has always regarded me as his old friend, sometimes a young lady, like his younger sister and always tries to match make me to his friends with no avail.

Anyway, he asked me to join his friends to play squash next week. I am really very excited!!!

Also, he told me that other than utilising his gym membership, his colleagues and him,  usually jog around esplanade area every thurs before heading for their usual drinking sessions. He invited me join them for their weekly jog, and I could just leave my things in his car and jog around the CBD esplanade suntec area with his laywer/bankers friends before heading for drinks.

I am sooooo excited !!

When it comes to workout, sports, beach, sun...I am just exceptionally excited. =p

We hung out at Marina Square, then Esplanade while waiting for Mr Allan to come.







Allan finally came to join us about 12am (???!!!!), and all of us sat by the bay and chatted till about 3am on a Wed night. Allan was so funny, as usual.
All of us shared really very personal stuff that night, very very quality time. =)


Eliz came up with a new theory that night - she said that she doesnt think I looked local at all, and she figured out that young guys will most probably think that I looked Japanese because thats what they have been seeing in dramas. Conversely, matured man who travelled frequently overseas for work purposes would think that I looked Thai or Pan Asian.
Kelvin and Glen have been reminding me constantly that I should carry a pepper spray around.
Allan thinks that I should change my mobile number for good, as he thinks that too many people are harassing me and he even suggested that I should move house, at least temporarily.
Sharon gladly offered her place for me to stay. haha...


Drama.All of them said that I am super closed up towards guys, super super choosy and selective.But how come still sooooo many weird people in my life?
Anyway, thank God for my SOT team mates. esp to the ones above and also Rhoda (my fave gal !!) and Jian Hao (very very brotherly). Though I seldom get to see Rhoda and Jian Hao that much, these 2 have been always loving me so consistently all these while..
Rhoda and I always have those very unexpected intimate conversations in the nights.
Jian Hao always make me smile by calling me "pretty sista Zoe..." He is like an elder brother.
